Lifelong learning and training are key elements in the development of teaching practices and it’s essential for teachers to enhance their teaching methods and approaches.

This first 2019’s training session organised by the French Embassy for secondary school teachers will take place in Galway, Sligo, Dublin and Enniscorthy, February 18th-22nd 2019.

This session will be animated by Mrs Stella Cambrone-Lasnes, French education expert, and will deal with
"Pedagogical differentiation in the French classroom".
This workshop will deal with the notion of differentiation, how to identify the different levels within the class and stimulate the students personal skills.

Note: this is the same workshop as those offered in june 2018

Detailed description:

• Objectifs :
   Faciliter l’accompagnement pédagogique et l’apprentissage des élèves
  avec des niveaux différents dans la classe de FLE.
   Connaître les outils existants facilitant la pédagogie différenciée et
  proposer des activités de remédiation pour favoriser un apprentissage
  personnalisé dans la classe,
   Savoir identifier et mettre en valeur les spécificités de chaque élève,
   Repenser l’espace de la classe.

Après une réflexion sur l’hétérogénéité des classes, les pratiques actuelles de la pédagogie différenciée, les différentes typologies d’élèves et les outils à disposition, les participants mettront ces principes en pratique lors d’activités de groupe.
