Is é Droichead an próiseas iondúchtúcháin imeasctha nua do mhúinteoirí agus tá sé ar fáil do mhúinteoiri bunscoile agus iar-bhunscoile araon.

Críochnaíodh le nó tá deireadh á chur leis na próisis thraidisiúnta maidir le Promhadh, Fostaíocht Iar-Cháilíochta (FIC) agus an Clár Ceardlainne Ionduchtúcháin.

Tá sé tábhachtach d'aire a thabhairt gurb é Droichead amháin an bealach ionduchtúcháin do mhúinteoirí bunscoile agus iar-bhunscoile ar fad atá cláraithe ón 1 Meitheamh 2020.

Droichead is the new integrated induction process for teachers and is available to both primary and post-primary teachers. 

The traditional processes of Probation, Post-Qualification Employment (PQE) and the Induction Workshop Programme have either concluded or are being phased out. 

It is important to note that Droichead is the only route of induction for all primary and post-primary teachers registered from 1 June 2020.
