Would you like to meet European school partners? Would you like to host an Assistant from a European country? Have you considered collaborating with other European schools via the Internet? If you are interested in any of these areas and would like to find out more, the Education Service of Léargas would like to invite you to attend practical information workshops;
Workshop 1
Comenius School Partnership; Transnational school partnerships that enable pupils, students and staff from across Europe to work together on joint projects
European In-Service Training for professional development of staff involved in school education
Comenius Assistantships to encourage intercultural awareness and language learning
The European Award for Languages and other language initiatives
Workshop 2 (This will be a practical workshop in a computer lab.)
eTwinning (www.etwinning.net): a framework for schools to colaborate with partner schools in other European countries
Both workshops will run concurrently. Please contact jsaunders@leargas.ie to book a place on these workshops.
