Eco-mapping is a practical & visual tool that can support schools in carrying out audits of the environmental performance of their school or classroom. The visual nature of eco-mapping will provide many opportunities for students of all age groups to be involved in identifying & solving environmental issues around their schools/classrooms. As a starting point using a map of the school or classroom, children can audit and identify problems from one of the Green Schools themes of waste, energy or Water. the Eco-map can grow from this point on.
