Title: Brigit's Garden - An Enviromental Resource in Our Community

In association with Brigit's Garden

This course will help familiarise teachers with resources for nature and heritage education at Brigit's Garden and in their local environments. Teachers will develop their skills in nature-based activities and methodologies and explore the rich links between Celtic heritage and the natural environment.

This course will include:

- Linking nature and Celtic heritage at Brigit's Garden.
- Discovering tress and woodland.
- Using ICT in SESE through digital camera and digital recordings.
- The world of mini beasts.
- Fieldtrip to Lough Corrib.
- Nature and heritage in visual arts education.
- Creating a nature activity trail.
