Teachers who complete this course will come away with a range of practical ideas to facilitate the EAL child in the classroom. Teachers will become more familiar with the intercultural guidelines thus benefiting the development of the school policies and school planning.

- Principles of EAL and first/second language acquisition.

- Classroom approaches to teaching on additional language.
- Team teaching as a model of support.
