Title: Learning Difficulties
Description: Mary Ó Connor is Director of the Brain and Behaviour Institute in Ireland. She has been practicing as a Developmental Treatment Specialist for the past 14 years. During that time she has worked with hundreds of children on individual programmes. She is also involved with a team of specialists in implementing a Developmental Movement

Programme for use in schools.

Overview of factors in modern day living, that may impact on learning, concentration and behaviour in the classroom.

Presentation will include possible learning difficulties associated with:

Anxiety and stress
  • Poor co-ordination and balance
  • Computer games and their effects
  • Poor listening, despite good hearing
  • Behaviour and attachment disorder
